Executive pay increasingly tied to climate criteria
To cut their greenhouse gas emissions, more and more leaders of large groups are paid against climate objectives. The practice now covers 95% of CAC 40 companies and 80% of SBF 120 chief executives, according to a report from the Institut Français des Administrateurs.
Ethics & Boards European Corporate Governance Barometer: ESG emerges as remuneration criteria
ESG issues are making inroads into European board committees, according to a new survey from ecoDa and Ethics & Boards, conducted on Stoxx Europe 600 covering 16 countries. Despite not being legally required, ESG committees have increased by 54 percent during the last three years.
Climate objectives are now built into executive pay
They still account for only 10% of the long-term bonus and 5.6% of the short-term across the SBF 120. France remains ahead in Europe.
