Publicis opens a new chapter in its governance
The advertising group is dropping its two-tier management board and supervisory board structure to unify leadership in the hands of Arthur Sadoun, who becomes chairman and chief executive.
Le groupe publicitaire Publicis a annoncé mercredi que son conseil de surveillance avait approuvé une transformation juridique de l’entreprise et qu’il prévoyait de confier le poste de PDG à son actuel président du directoire, Arthur Sadoun, dans le cadre de cette nouvelle structure. Le groupe prévoit de soumettre sa proposition de «retour de l’entreprise à la forme de société anonyme à conseil d’administration» aux actionnaires au cours de l’assemblée générale du 29 mai prochain, a-t-il indiqué dans un communiqué.Dans cette nouvelle structure, Arthur Sadoun deviendrait président-directeur général tandis que l’actuel président du conseil de surveillance, Maurice Lévy, serait nommé président d’honneur.
